Life has a way of throwing a curveball when you least expect it. This past week has been a bit of a whirlwind for our family as we navigate a challenging health situation with my mother-in-law.

She has been battling acute rheumatoid arthritis, and unfortunately, things took a sharp turn for the worse recently. What began as manageable discomfort escalated into severe pain and swelling, to the point where she’s found it nearly impossible to move around.

From Godavarikhani to Secunderabad

We spent the last few days in my wife’s hometown, Godavarikhani, seeking local treatment. However, given the severity of the flare-up, the doctors there felt it was best to refer her to specialists. We are now at KIMS Secunderabad to get her the advanced care she needs.

What’s Next?

The medical team here is being very thorough. We’re currently in the middle of a series of investigations and diagnostic tests. Once the results are in, the doctors will help us decide on the best path forward—whether that means surgery or a more intensive course of alternative treatments.

For now, my main focus is being here. Between hospital runs and managing family responsibilities, it’s a full-time job, but there’s nowhere else I’d rather be than supporting her through this recovery.
