"We were not prepared" - COVID Seconds Wave

I am totally surprised to see the level of mismanagement- calling it worse would be an understatement. 

Seeing my countrymen struggling, I am wondering was there even a single soul thinking about planning for covid second wave. I can understand every process has lapses but this is like ' no process existed'. no oxygen, no beds, no vaccines. This pandemic has unveiled our pathetic system.

The price that we are paying for being lost in in the drama of politics instead of focusing on real issues is huge. Amidst this, IPL going on. Can this distraction take away the agony? Never felt so helpless in life. 

In other countries people have died of covid but here they are dying because they are not getting beds and oxygen at the right time. India really needs to learn the art of execution. Plans won't work if there is no strong execution.
