We are living in a Golden Age

Technological innovation, crime rates, access to information and resources point to a civilization that has never experienced a higher quality of life. True, there is an affordable housing crisis and the job market is rather competitive, but again, there has never been a more convenient time to be a human being.

Life is generally very good for people living in the Western world, and the internet has made most aspects of life (particularly urban life) easier than ever before. This doom and gloom business is hyperbolic. Everything is amazing.
