Satellite Imagery of 2017 Solar Eclipse

Although totality was only about 60 miles wide, almost the entire nation experienced some levels of darkness.
It's such an unsettling feeling as the sky gets darker and darker. Crickets start chirping, birds start singing, the temperature drops about ten degrees. It just feels like something bad is going to happen, which makes sense knowing the sun is literally keeping us all alive and seeing it go away when we know it shouldn't be is a bit terrifying. I'm going to for sure go to see the 2024 eclipse.
