Jungle Book' King of the Box Office Again

The road was clear for Disney to repeat as box office champion, and they took advantage of the minimal competition. Coming at #1 again is The Jungle Book, which made $60.8 million in its second weekend. That’s just a 41.1 percent drop from its opening, a very strong hold.

The latest from director Jon Favreau has clearly benefited from the positive word-of-mouth and its position as a technological marvel that demands to be seen on the biggest of screens.
