I had not anticipated that I'd get a laptop before the 1st semester of my final year. This came to me as a surprise. We went to reliance digital 2 days back. I already knew what kind of laptop i needed, the specifications, was already on my mind.

I knew Dell had the closest hardware compability with all sorts of Linux distributions. Which is what i was looking for, but then i found this beauty 'HP-15 G002AX' which came with pre-installed windows 8 single 64-bit architecture. It didn't had dos or linux os but still i went on with choosing this because it had awesome configuration with windows 8 pre installed.

  • It has 4gb of ram (I wanted 8 GB) but nonetheless it has upto 16gb expandable ram which is future proof. (for all i care)
  • 1TB of Hard Disk
  • On board 4 gigs of Graphic Power(AMD Radeon R5).
  • AMD Quad Core Processor with  2.20 ghz
  • 15.6" Screen
  • Optical RW/dvd drive.
  • Two 3.0 ports & one 2.0 port.
So yeah, that's it. Today I was able to completely hook up windows 8.1 pro that i already had with Ubuntu along side it. I had completed the updating process and i'm ready to rock and roll.
