Gate 2015: Should I or Should I Not ?

This month (july) has almost come to an end, aspirants & attendees of Gate Exam 2015 have already started taking coaching classes for their preferred subjects.

I haven't yet made up my mind as for when I'll join a coaching center. They say its difficult to get by gate exams without proper coaching. But after learning about it throughly, the procedure, question format-marks & the relaxation given to students based on their categories. I think i'll pass.

Judging from the previous gate Qualifying marks, 2015 exam marks should be around 25-30/100 for my category(OBC).

Although I'm still a little skeptical if I choose to go to an institute paying huge chunks of $$$, what if I don't get qualified ?

This keeps bugging me...
