So, I'm on Substack Now
Same brain, new address.
Hi. I’m Raghu.
For the last few years I’ve been writing over at kanthalaraghu.blogspot.com, mostly about Linux, Android, open source, and whatever AI nonsense the industry was peddling that week. Posts on Ubuntu’s AI roadmap, Samsung beta releases, why KillerPDF deserves more love, the occasional rant about Oracle pretending to be a tech company. That blog isn’t going anywhere. But it has started to feel a bit like a museum; neat shelves, labelled categories, everything in its place.
Substack is going to be the messier room. The one with the half-finished thoughts on the desk and a coffee ring on the notebook.
Here’s roughly what you’ll get:
Tech, still. Linux, open source, AI, the things I actually use. Less “review”, more “here’s what I noticed and why it matters”.
Ramblings. Stuff that doesn’t fit a category — adulthood, work, the weird shape of the news cycle, whatever’s been rattling around at 11pm.
Rants. When something deserves one. I’ll try to keep them earned.
No schedule promises. No “10x your productivity” threads. No AI-generated listicles dressed up as insight. Just me, writing the way I’d talk to you over chai if we both had the time.
If that sounds like your kind of thing, hit subscribe. If not, no hard feelings — the blog’s still there, and the RSS feed still works.
See you in the next one.
